How and where will I be picked up?

Pick-Up from your home

The driver will pick you up on time at your doorstep and will help you with your luggage.

Pick-Up at the airport

We expect you with a name sign at the relevant meeting point. Please see your booking confirmation for further information. Alternatively, you may arrange a different meeting point with the local contractor. Please leave a note on your booking.

Pick-Up at the train station

We expect you with a name sign at the designated meeting point which is noted in your booking confirmation.

Pick-Up at the hotel

Our contractor will pick you up in the lobby of the hotel with a name sign.

What is the advance booking deadline?

The general booking deadline is 24 hours before transfer start.

How will I be informed about my booking status?

After you have finished the booking process you will receive a reservation request confirmation by email which is provisional. Shortly you will receive the confirmation that your transfer has been reserved with a local contractor. In case your transfer is not available you will receive a cancellation confirmation.

In addition you can view the status of your booking in your profile under "My Transfers". Unconfirmed bookings are marked with a red status icon. As soon as your booking is confirmed by one of our transfer service providers, a green status icon will appear. After that you will also be able to view the contact details of your transfer service provider in the transfer details.

How do I cancel my booking?

You may cancel your booked transfers in your personal "My World Transfer" account. Please log in with your access data and follow the instructions.

Cancellation Conditions

Premium Economy Class: In case of cancellation until 12 hours before the transfer pick-up time the cancellation is charge-free. At a later time 100% cancellation fees apply.
Business und First Class: In case of cancellation until 2 hours before the transfer pick-up time the cancellation is charge-free. At a later time 100% cancellation fees apply.

How is the transfer price combined?

You always receive a fixed price including all taxes and duties.

Prices may vary for outward and inward bound transfers due to differing route calculations or tariff areas.

Additional Service, i.e. accompaniment to the check-in counter or train carriage will be charged. Prices can be obtained from the booking interface and services can be booked individually for each transfer.

How does the payment process via credit card work?

Your credit card will be charged at time of booking or refunded by cancellation free of charge.

Do I receive an invoice?

In case you pay for your transfer via credit card you will receive a digitally PDF invoice which you may download in your World Transfer account after your card has been charged. There will be no notification via e-mail.

Please be advised that World Transfer will not send any postal invoices.
